We welcome you to join us for our open day on Saturday 12 May anytime between 11am and 3pm. We plan to spend the day celebrating being part of this fantastic community, and we invite you to come along and enjoy sailing with us on the beautiful Montrose Basin and see the town from a completely different perspective!
We welcome everyone…..you might never have sailed before or you might be a bit rusty after a few years away from the sport. We’d be delighted to get you out on to the water under the watchful eye of our enthusiastic and competent team. You can choose to simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our boats, or you might prefer to take the helm and have a go yourself!
You might like it so much that you want to sign up for an individual sailing session – you can sign up to one of these sessions when you visit us on 12 May, or you can contact us at secretary@montroseailingclub.co.uk to book a session if you can’t make it to our open day.
We will do everything we can to keep you dry but sailing is a water sport so we suggest that you bring a towel, wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and bring some dry clothes too. You’ll certainly get your feet wet so bring some old trainers. We have a small supply of sailing gear that you are welcome to borrow.
